Common Frame Measurements

Measurement What it means How to use it
Lens width Width of one lens, usually in millimeters. Compare with glasses that already fit you.
Bridge width Distance between the lenses across the nose. Affects comfort and whether the frame sits too high or low.
Temple length Length of the arms from hinge to tip. Affects behind-the-ear comfort and stability.
Frame width Total front width of the frame. Helps avoid frames that are too narrow or too wide.

How to Compare Fit

Check the size numbers printed on a pair of glasses that already fits you well. Compare those values to the measurements shown on the product page. A small difference may still fit, but larger differences can change comfort and appearance.

Face Shape and Use Case

For sports and outdoor use, many customers prefer a secure fit with good side coverage. For daily lifestyle wear, comfort, bridge fit, and overall frame width are usually more important.

Pupillary Distance and Prescription Notice

Some eyewear purchases may require pupillary distance or prescription details from a licensed optical professional. Summit Optics does not provide eye exams, medical diagnosis, or prescription verification unless a product or service expressly states otherwise.

Children and Adult Supervision

For any children’s eyewear, an adult should review fit, comfort, and suitability. Children’s privacy and purchase rules are addressed in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

If the item is eligible under our Return & Refund Policy, you may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery.
